Sell

Make Money from Your Kids Old Clothes.
This page helps you learn how we operate so you can be a successful consignor.

What to Expect on Payment and Mark-downs...

The consignor receives 40 percent of sale price of each item sold if taken as CASH, or 50 percent if taken as STORE CREDIT. A one-dollar handling fee goes to Monkeys' Uncle for each item sold.

At the end of the first full month of consignment, items will be marked down 25 percent.

At the end of the second full month, items will be marked down an additional 25 percent.

At the end of the third month, unsold items may be retrieved by consigner. Otherwise, they will be donated to an appropriate local charity.

If Items Do Not Sell We'll Donate It to Charity

We begin to pull items for DONATION
during the last week of the third full month.

Any item may be retrieved prior to donation. If an item has particular sentimental value to you, we suggest you check back to see if it has sold EARLY in the third month.

If requested, Monkey's Uncle will provide the consigner with a receipt for donated items.

Please note: in a consignment situation, the consignor remains the owner of the items until sold or donated. Monkeys' Uncle is not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged.
